Robbie is an award-winning cinematographer, hailed by the British Cinematographer as part of the New Wave.
Twice nominated by the British Society of Cinematographers as an emerging cinematographer, he began working in the camera department in his teens, assisting on studio films such as Harry Potter, Captain America, Skyfall and Under the Skin.
He then studied under the tutelage of several cinematographers on commercials and music videos before a mentorship spanning several years with Haris Zambarloukos on the feature films Locke, Jack Ryan and Cinderella – also working as a camera operator on the latter.
His debut feature, The Ceremony, recently won top honours at Edinburgh International Film Festival, is nominated for two BIFA’s and is now beginning its festival run.
